We, in Carey and Johnston, felt that we should update you on what we are doing to support our staff and clients through this ambiguous half-in half-out period. Below we've outlined our current operating modes, with any luck you will find there's one suitable for you, but don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like to discuss any specific arrangements.
We are aware that many of you may still feel most comfortable maintaining a physical distance, with that in mind we have three remote options:
Book a Virtual Meeting
Our advisers can have face to face meetings with you via video conferencing software. We can present documents on the screen to you, as if we were in the same room. We can send you the link to open and 'attend' the meeting, even if you are not used to this. You won't need to buy any fancy software, and you may even have used the past twenty four months to become a whiz on Zoom* anyway.
*Other platforms are, probably, available.
If you'd rather; please email us and we will deal with your query, and happily communicate, this way. This is preferable to Royal Mail at the moment since we can respond more quickly, and the environmental footprint is reduced. (There are of course times when physical documents are unavoidable, and in this case we will have to bite the snail mail bullet, and do an offsetting tree plant.)
This takes me back, but we have tried to bring the old dog-and-bone into the 21st century. Even if the office is closed we are still on the end of the line, as your call will be rerouted to our mobiles.
Remember, it's good to talk. As well as the above, remote, options, we have staff back in the Carrick office. We are still, though, tip-toeing cautiously with a one-in-one-out policy for customers and their bubbles.
